Buyers’ FAQs for Switzerland
How often can I use my rental property myself?
You can stay in Switzerland for up to 90 days in any 180-day period without a visa, allowing you to use your rental property while you are in the country. This process can be repeated one more time in a single year, meaning you can stay in your property for a maximum of 6 months a year. However, you will have to apply for a Swiss residence permit if you want to stay longer than 90 days, even if you are an EU/EFTA citizen.
