Property in Hollersbach – Pass Thurn

Although Hollersbach is a 30-minute drive away from its more famous neighbours Kitzbühel to the north and Zell am See to the east, properties in Hollersbach with second home status (Zweitwohnsitz) are priced at a premium. With its year-round appeal, this area has become a very popular base for both winter and summer sports enthusiasts and nature lovers.

If you are looking to buy a chalet or apartment in quiet and peaceful surroundings then Hollersbach is an ideal choice. The area has a good selection of zweitwohnsitz and freizeitwohnsitz apartments and chalets for sale - all within easy reach of Kitzbuhel, Bramberg and Zell am See.

As of 2023, entry prices for apartments start at approximately EUR 600,000. Detached chalets can be found for sale from around EUR 2m although prices can go much higher based on their size, amenities, and views.

In some cases the Austrian government offers VAT reclaim options for new-build properties under certain conditions, enhancing the appeal of investing in new developments in this area.

Just above Hollersbach, Pass Thurn is another good option as many apartments and chalets here are within walking distance to the ski lifts.

Much of the property in Pass Thurn is designated as zweitwohnsitz meaning that you are able to use it as your own private second home without any rental obligation.
